Music Control Issues with 2.8... No more control ?!

Hello,

I never had issues which were not "cured" by a reset of the phone, the watch or both or my previous Fenix and the Instinct.

But these times I'm stuck even after a factory reset on the Instinct...

I'm on 2.80 (the last version today)
My phone is a Samsung S8 with the security of jan 2019 (last one)
I use the last versions of Poweramp or Neutron or Pocket Casts.

The only control I can get on those three applications is the volume but on Neutron which I can stop and sometimes (after many attempts) change track...

Am I the only one ?

Is this an issue of 2.8 ?

this seems the issue between android and 2.8 then, because mine 2.8 and iOS works with both podcasts and spotify well.

It seems to be an issue with Poweramp. I have installed Samsung Music Player and I can control it... Samsung player is like restoring the links of the control. I can also stop the podcasts and vary the volume again on Pocket Casts....

Yes, you're right the music control not working. When I start Soundcloud and push the play button nothing on the watch showing, but when I push the play button on the watch automatically start Google music. It is weird, I remember previously worked perfectly. Garmin please fix this issue and other issues as well!

Edit: I can start any music app it's not working, YouTube, Soundcloud, Fildo the watch not showing what music is playing.

Yes it seems to unlearn what it was able to do.

But now with the Samsung Player, no more issue. Waiting for Garmin to bring to us an update/beta with that mind now !

i have same problem; my fenix does not work with samsung music but ONLY with google music. How i can switch and use samsung unless google?
