Battery problems since the new update 19.10

Hi everyone,

Since the latest update 19.10, my Instinct Solar have some intense battery draining.

Activities drain the battery double the % then normal.

Last evening i charged the watch fully to 100%, and just went sleep with the wrist hr sensor On

(after a 7-8h sleep the battery% got normaly down 1-2%) However this nights 7h sleep.. drained the battery 21% (from 100 in the night to 79% in the morning)

Saw that some others have the same problem since a few days (after the latest update)

Soft-reset and going through the full charging cycle usually helps, in such cases. See more details in the Troubleshooting guide for high battery drain

Also experiencing battery drain - getting 3 days on full charge as opposed to the usual 3 weeks (assuming no gps usage). Soft reset hasn't helped.

Soft reset alone is not enough. Try following the instructions in the guide exactly, and if it does not help, reach out to the Support as advised at the end of the guide.

Is your solar charging working, mine has stopped and keeps turning off when battery gets low and try to start a task running

I went straight to master reset as it seemed easier than following all the other steps and i wasn't fussed about losing my data. Bluetooth is turned off. Battery life is a a little better, but still only getting 5 to 7 days. Will have to contact support :(

any update on this issue? I am on instinct standard edition with 19.10 and i noticed the seme ultra fast battery drain. Is a fix planned?

I've done everything, software update, soft reset, hard reset, turned on battery saver mode (which disables everything - GPS, bluetooth, heard rate, apps, the lot), and went through troubleshooting with a garmin rep on the phone, but still getting battery drain. I've sent it to garmin, but I doubt it can be fixed, and it's out of warranty. In the event it can't be fixed, they have offered a replacement at a reduced price.

I've literally got the same problem and tried everything to solve it from all the resets hard soft you name it. It's very frustrating. I really hope a solution is coming out from this fast. Hopefully it's not something Garmin is doing to us to force us to buy a new product.
