Vibration Rattle

Two weeks after my warranty expired (of course!) my Instinct Solar started rattling on some (but not all) vibrations. Nothing specific happened to the watch (impact, etc) so I'm not sure why it started. I've seen threads on this problem on other models (e.g. Venu and Instinct non-solar), but nothing on Instinct Solar. Anyone else seen this? Non-warranty repair quote was $140, trying to decide if I want to get it repaired. If I'm just unlucky, maybe I suck it up, but it's a little disappointing for Garmin's most rugged option.

Hello Chris,

Just got the same issue with Fenix 6 pro a week ago. Obviously the warranty period is over so I'm wondering how it went with yours ? Did you manage to have a replacement ?

I am sorry you have the issue. A vibration rattle is a hardware issue with the mechanism. Your watch will need to be exchanged to resolve the issue. Please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region to discuss options.
