Does it due to my time zone ? What is algorithm process which manages time zone tide data and calculates the good tide graph position in function of actual time? So what will happen in October after the time zone change (winter hour) ?

It is based on your physical location. When you are out there, you can save that specific location for the tide data.
Yes. But It giving the Wong data by an hour. And that’s a big diference. I am guessing because it’s not calculating the proper time for Hawaii in relation to day light savings tive? I noticed on my Fénix…
Hi, did this get sorted as my tides all went exactly 1 hour behind when daylight saving happened here in the UK. Its annoying and also dangerous as I got caught out last weekend. Th. Any help or info appreciated…
I have sent you a private message.
I would also like more information on how to get the correct tide time since I am in Hawaii where we do not do daylight savings. Ironically my watch is the surf edition and named after Pipeline which is in Hawaii.

I noticed on my Fénix watch one of my tide widgets is correct and then the one that comes with Garmin is also off by an hour.
Im disappointed that this watch is the Surf edition, yet it seems like it doesn’t give me the tide u less it’s connected to the phone which It can’t be when I’m surfing and it’s giving an incorrect data. So what’s the point of paying $400 for this watch when a $70 surf watch is more accurate?
please explain.

Because your $400 watch can do so much than your $70 watch.
Despite the time change over last weekend for states that have Daylight Savings, your high tide time should not now be off by 1 hour if your watch shows the correct time/date.
I am sending you a Private Message to work with you further to resolve the issue.
Still off by an hour.
