After updating my Instinct 2x to 17.05 the Tide glance no longer works "Error: Tide information request failed."
NB Previously the Tide glance has been reliable (and I'm lucky to be in a location where the Garmin Tide predictions align with published tide tables).
Power cycled watch. No change. Removed Tide glance and re-added it after another power cycle. No change.
So I did a System / Reset / Reset Default Settings. The watch then rebooted and hung on the boot (waited 10+ minutes).
Master reset was next which of course blasted away all the activities. Have a backup of activities so all good.
Pair the Garmin Connect iOS. Sync never completes. Force quit Garmin Connect and restart. Still syncing as I write this.
Tried the Tide glance again but still broken.
Would suggest that anyone requiring Tide data for water activities disables Auto Updates until these issues are corrected.
