Instinct 2X Update

Dear Garmin,

it is very nice that you released a "new" software updated Instinct 3 watch, BUT Instinct 2X users have been waiting for 6 months for a software update for the watch, which has not arrived, and which other and cheaper models also received. We are not waiting for an updated "new" watch model!!

We paid a lot of money to buy a watch that is almost 20 months old. Should we take this to mean that support for the watch ended after one year? And should we pay another hundreds of dollars for a "new" updated model?
