I am finding that the silicone strap is irritating my wrist. I have a spare 22mm bracelet but the spring bars for the bracelet don't fit the Instinct 2 and the Instinct 2 spring bars are too big to fit in the bracelet. Does anyone have any ideas?

I think the Amazon bracelets and watch stores will have the same issue wiht the spring bars.
Not if you buy one that is listed as Garmin Instinct 2 compatible. And there are plenty of them…

Or visit a local store with watches, they may have a fitting band on the stock, or can order one for you (probably for 5 times the price

I'm happy with nylon. Breathing, hand does not sweat, does not irritate. The price is about 4 US, including mail, for Wish and Aliexpress.
Yes, you can try it. I have this now. Thos from Wish, is easy by eshop.
