I woould to ask if Fenix E supports sleep alignment function. Because on this site https://support.garmin.com/id-ID/?faq=ZW7SkFKVY59JPEIuuRhQCA is Fenix E listed in supported devices, but in pdf document is small notice which says "Excludes Fenix E" ( https://www8.garmin.com/wearables/PDF/WearablesSoftwareUpdate/2026/February2026.pdf ). Which is correct?

I can't seem to find a way to control the volume for alerts, notifications, calls etc on my Fenix E. Is this feature not available?

Software 20.29 and faster battery drain

Hi. After the update, I noticed faster battery drain. It went from 100% to 61% in 36 hours without any activity. Before the update, the battery level dropped by 20% in just over 24 hours.
Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

20.19: Sleep watchface remains after quitting the nap

I already reported this (I think it started with 20.12 beta), in that version the sleep watchface remained after any sleep (so every morning I had to set the regular watchface again - on the watch, it was already selected, but re-selecting it did finally switch the sleep watchface back to the regular one).

In 20.19 this still keeps happening when exiting (eg. by interrupting) the nap = after every nap, I have to re-set the watchface.

Hi, is there a chance to have a feature that current temperature on watch face Propulsion shows progress bar according to today’s min / max? So for instance now it’s 20 degrees but max 40. Then the progress bars shows in about 50%. Same as for body battery.

Fēnix E - wrong hiking data recording (granulation?)

Hi,

I have a problem with Fēnix E recording hiking. It's not correct, distance, elevation... when compared to other recording devices: mobile, other garmin or similar devices.

E.g. my Fēnix recorded ~18km long tour with 840m accumulated elevation while many other devices of friends that accompanied me on the same tour recorded ~13km and 660 accumulated elevation. Thus the slope of the climb differs a lot also, some section on Fēnix shows ~20% while other devices show ~40% for the same section.

Possible cause can be granulation, that is much bigger (wrongly?) in Fēnix recording.

Print screens follow. Tour named "Hike" was recorded by Fēnix E, while the same tour named "Alpes Dolomitas..." was recorded by other device. Discrepancies:

- 1: differences in data, distance, elevation, speed...

- 2, 3: example of one track section recording, lower granulation on other devices

- 4, 5: slope percentage difference of the same section

Golf courses cannot be found even after updates are installed and manage maps don't allow reinstallation of golf maps.

I've always thought that the E series in each Garmin product line was aimed more toward users who aren't very familiar with the Garmin ecosystem and generally doesn't offer strong value for money. Usually, it’s just an older model with a refreshed look—this was also my impression of the Fenix E.

However, I've recently noticed some software updates (currently in beta) that bring many of the newest features from the Forerunner 970 to the Fenix E, like the new Triathlon Coach, new running metrics linked to the HRM600, and more. These features are unlikely to come to the Fenix 7 or Forerunner 965. For me, the Fenix E now makes a lot more sense than it did at launch. Although it still uses the older Elevate 4 sensor (which I don't mind, since I usually run with an HRM and the Elevate 4 is reliable enough), and it lacks features like a speaker or a brighter display, the recent price drop makes it a compelling alternative to the Fenix 8 or Forerunner 970. What do you think?

As a runner, I always considered the Forerunner 570. However, I find its price too high for what it offers. The Fenix E is now similarly (slightly higher) priced but delivers almost all of the running features from the 970—such as Stamina, Endurance Score, Hill Score, and Maps. It’s disappointing that the 570 doesn’t include at least the Endurance Score and Hill Score, which would have set it apart from the older 265, which I’m currently using.

On a side note: According to Garmin’s website, the Fenix E should also have skin temperature measurement. Is this actually true? I thought this feature was exclusive to devices with the Elevate 5 sensor.

What are your thoughts on the Fenix E after the latest updates?
