Garmin Fenix 8 Battery Draining fast

Good morning everyone and especially Garmin team! I am a new user of Garmin Fenix 8 51mm and i was sad to find out that despit it saying 29d of battery on my original watch face, battery lasts 8-9 days max, at smartwatch mode, one activity total duting these days, and of course all battery draining settings known are set off. What is going on?? A friend that had this in the past told me battery lasted him 22-24d actual days. Did the latest firmware update mess this up?

Hello and good morning! Yes of course I have checked this and all known battery draining features are off.

As we speak, yesterday morning I did a full charge, and now after 24hrs the watch battery is at 62%. I haven't done an activity. Battery seems to be even worse right as I've mentioned.

Im not sure why this happens though, my brother owned this before me and the battery lasted him 22-24d with activities done.

it seems like a waste of money if it is a faulty battery so soon or it is a software issue, its not even 6 months it was bought.

My system updated on my Fenix 8 pro Amoled. Had 2 runs (40 minutes) and 2 weights sessions and my battery has died in a few days. Only second charge of new watch. Standard watch face.

Previous to update got nearly 4 weeks.

I’ve detected, for the past couple of versions, that when I disconnect the watch from the charger after syncing Spotify tracks, the Wi‑Fi stays stuck on. If you check the battery statistics, you can see that Wi‑Fi is consuming far more than it
should. With Wi‑Fi disabled, it works perfectly.

Everything has gone back to normal post a recharge,but that was just after the update which came over via wi-fi so it may well have been the culprit. I will check next time there is an update. Much appreciated.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue for the past four weeks.

My Fenix 8 Pro is losing around 1% of battery per hour, even though Wi-Fi and LTE are turned off and only Bluetooth is enabled.

According to the battery usage statistics, 99% of the battery consumption is attributed to System → Other.

The problem seems to have started after updating to firmware version 22.38. I haven’t changed any settings, and everything is configured exactly as it was before the update.

I have the exact same problem with regular Fenix 8 47mm. Started with the mentioned update as well. Charged battery to full before sleep 2 days ago. Until today morning 15% battery was consumed by system -> other alone. Did not change anything in settings as well. Something is definitely wrong.
