FW 22.38 laggy on Fenix 8 51mm amoled! Video added.

Garmin please optimize this new firmware more, its now very laggy, i installed whole firmware again and still its very laggy, i also uninstalled whatsapp and others apps, no help. Scrolling etc is very laggy. Please do something.

So this is Garmin opinion about laggy UI

they said that slight stall is normal for 1000€ flagship watch. incredible s*it.

It doesn't run smoothly, but stutters instead? And you still think that's normal? So there needs to be a 3 to 5-second delay for it to be called lagging? I've honestly never heard this kind of explanation…

I am deeply disappointed in Garmin's support. All users need to spam Garmin now. We won't accept being underestimated and treated like we're too dumb to reset the watch or try different fixes for bugs…

Came here to highlight the same issue - very laggy UI and features when pressing also side buttons. Whats has plenty of free room, no 3rd party apps, did hard reset etc.

Lets hope garmin will try make it more smoother, because it has been smoother in earlier firmwares.

Same issue here, not all the time but sometimes extremely laggy when scrolling or transitioning screens.

as I check further, I would agree everything overall seems more laggy with the watch interface with 22.38. I did not have this sort of behavior with 22.35 or earlier.

also, I'm on a 47mm AMOLED.

22.38 is definitely laggy all over the UI. It took multiple seconds yesterday to even just get the activities launched. Hoping Garmin will see this thread and investigate and fix this quickly. Definitely did not have any of these issues on 22.35 and kind of wish I could go back at this point.

I have reviewed the video you uploaded. This does not appear to be experiencing a lag. A slight stall would be normal. But a lag for example, where the watch stalls for more than 3-5 seconds would not be normal. If you are experiencing this, I would love to collect a video: supportforms.garmin.com/.../
