I have the same priblem with my Garmin Fenix 8 47mm. Yesterday a battery drop similair to the opener of this thread.
I think it's related to the Bluetooth connection between watch and phone. I was driving with my car, phone connected to watch and also to the car.
When checking later the battery usage graph hour by hour where the drop was, I could see the phone connection bluetooth sign by the graph in EVERY of the hours. The drop was 2%/h, and the watch was in normal watch use, no activities etc on.
Please check why the Bluetooth connection stucks and drains the battery.
