17.30 latest version and small updates?

i installed 17.30 a couple of days ago and this morning got an alert for an update which would take 1 minute. it installed fine, but now i see on my phone that Connect is trying to install another system update. not sure what this is about. what i see on my phone About is:

Software version 17.30

GPS: 6.10

Wifi: 28.85

CIQ: 5.2.0

BMX: 21.10

ANT/BLT/BT 28.85

TSC 0.19

Sensor Hub 35.10

NFC 3.5.8

WLT 3.2.14

anyone else getting these repeated attempts to updates something? what are your versions?

I got the update 10 minutes ago, I'm on the same versions.

Me too. The third time I got a 17.30 update...

i guess i'm glad i'm not the only one as i was a bit worried i was in an infinite loop of updates that i have heard about previously.

I get also an update after 17.30 is already running.
But this bricks my watch, I can‘t select any functions, the display always jumps back to the watchface. Only solution was to complete reset the watch and restore it from scratch- tooks an hour or two. After everything was working again, there comes the small update again. I was full of trust to Garmin, that this update will work now - but now my Fenix 8 is a blinking useless peace of garbage again.
The watch is new, I‘m thinking of returning it now after all these Garmin-years. I haven‘t got the time, to be software tester.

I had this situation. The watch asking to install 17.3 update, I agree. And after that I thought it had been installed. But then in 2 days I get another message to install the 17.3 update. All the actions repeated. Today I connected the watch to a computer and only then I received a message (in Garmin Express) that there is not enough space on the watch to install the update. Cleaned-up some of my audiobooks. And now the update is installing properly, I see the animation of the installation process on the watch face.
Hope that helps with the questions here.

I am experiencing exactly the same phenomenon: there have been three updates to the watch since the 17.30 upgrade. Neither the watch nor Garmin itself provides any information about the content of these updates on this interface.

My watch is running the same versions.

Yes, installing the unnamed last update over Garmin Express worked for me also.

I‘ve disabled automatic updates in Garmin Connect now also. The watch performs well now.
