Same here. 47mm Solar. Was working a treat on 11.9, 12.22 shows just a questionmark.

Same here on 47mm solar. Worked great until the update. Go's for both received messages and preset replies.

Same issue on Fenix 8 47mm solar. No emojis showed.

Sometimes things get fixed on the back end. Things that are not a software bug, but data and/or service related issues.

I got my Fenix 8 47mm Solar a few days ago and updated the software to 12.35 right away.
In my notifications, all emojis are only displayed as question marks.

I wonder if most people on the thread are still having the issues, or if the issues have resolved themselves.
The Fenix and the Garmin Connect app are up to date with the latest release and I have also restarted the watch. But the emojis in the notifications still seem to be buggy.

Sorry to jump in. I've never used Whatsapp notifications on my watch because it would be forever showing them between personal, work and running chats! Is it possible to have notifications show only for a single contact or select few contacts, rather than have everything, and is that separate to having chats muted within Whatsapp or can it use the mute settings to reflect what is sent to the watch or not? Thanks :-)

For me, the problem solved itself. Mine still works fine, and I can see all the emojis and stickers on the watch (same watch and firmware as yours)
