Backup/Restore feature is missing

My Fenix 8 does NOT have any option to do Backup/Restore. I am not here asking to restore from a non-F8 device (though it sure would be nice to do that!) I am simply wanting to backup my F8 .... so that if it breaks I can restore to a different F8.

Can I assume this feature was somehow "missed" but will be added soon? When?

EDIT: firmware is 11.59 (which promptly upgraded from the shipped Out-of-Box firmware 10.19)

At this time, the option is not available to backup/restore on the Fenix 8 series. There has not been any announcement made as to if/when this will become available. So at this time, if you restore defaults of reset settings on your watch, it will be necessary to manually set up your settings.

This is a serious oversight. It's like I'm going backwards in features from my 7 to an 8...
