BUG on the new function - Countdown until a date - It is one day ahead.

OK.....This is another annoying error and this one it is mathematical !!
I have set a countdown for my train in one week.   A week is something we all know in terme of number of days.

It will be the Friday the 6th of September at 08:43
In one week exactely.
So the result should be 06 days 22 hours.... no ?

But no !!
at 10:03 today Friday the 30th of August.
the countdown shows: 05:22:39:25
5 days ? No !! It should be 6 days !!
The correct result should have been 06:22:39:25

So I have created a countdown for tomorrow morning.
And once it was created, and start it was already over !   The Minus One Day Bug was there again

It means the Countdown for one Day of calculation error.
If you use it don't forget to subtract one day !!

Please do correct that issue !! Even my casio are reliable in that domain.

    Hello

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I set a Countdown for the same time and date, but mine is showing the correct time frame. So for this, do you have the Connect app successfully paired? And the correct time and date on the phone? You may also try connecting with GPS to see if this corrects the countdown. 

    You may need to remove and readd the countdown, once you have tried this. 

    If this is still not correct, I would also recommend trying a hard reset. For this, hold the upper left button until the watch is off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.

    Hello Laurie,

    Thank you for your answer.
    Now:
    I have only used the Clock on the F8 to go to Countdown.
    So the phone is not involved in anyway. And it is a simple function you can find on 50 dollars Casio.

    Let's try it again (after an hard reset).

    So this morning the 31st of August,
    I have just set a new countdown for tomorrow 1st of September, same time as now PLUS one hour !
    And started it on the watch.

    So I should have
    01 day 00 Hours 59 Minutes. Right ?

    But the F8 is showing
    00 Day 00 Hours 59 Minutes. Which is wrong !

    It is like the jumping of one month ahead is erasing a full day.
    (Is there a calculation error which could be a mistake in month jumping from August to September.)

    Anyway, I hope you will read my message Tuesday after a great long week end ! ;-)

    I can confirm this bug. Got the same on my F8.

    Today Garmin Laurie has asked me to send elements regarding that bug.
    I have also made a video as requested also.

    The Countdown was set for tomorrow at 23:00    (+1 days and 23 hours)
    And once launch the countdown shows that it was set for today at 23:00...

    My countdown works, but it makes no sound.

    Mine makes all the sounds and vibes and there is a nice animation but...

    it happens a day earlier each time. :-(

    It was because, Monday it was Labour Day in the US.
    SO it was a three days weekend just after the release of the F8 and the hard rain of bugs.

    SO when Lauris was back to the office on Tuesday, she was certainly facing a ton of alerts and messages from those forums tagging her name !!
    That's why. ;-)
