Bug - naps

SW Version: 11.59

In the Naps Glance I can see my total time of naps eq 1004560 hours with 3 naps listed:

  1. 30391 hours between 11:43 and 11:07(yes before)
  2. 842332 hours between 13:23 and 18:06
  3. 1051552 hours between 4:20 and 14:33

I am not sure what the data actually is but I cannot see this in the Connect App. I have previously used Venu 3 also having Naps feature and had no issues like this.

  • Given this thread in many others with a years worth of worthless promises, it's becoming quite obvious that Garmin isn't going to provide a way to simply turn off nap detection.  This would mean they care more about their customers than the contract they have with external software vendors that produce the algorithms that detect naps.  They don't appear to understand that the customer is way more important.  Eventually, the we don't care attitude will affect their bottom line with a lack of repeat customers. I for one have had probably six or seven Garman watches.  It appears as though my S70 will be the last.  You kind of wonder what is the exact number of complaints that will wake them up.  Evidently, we haven't reached that threshold.  Some VP in a chair somewhere is either oblivious or just too stubborn to say it doesn't work let them turn it off.  I'm betting it isn't the VP of marketing or sales!  More than likely it's an information technology VP.  Do your job sir/ma'am, bite the bullet and satisfy your customers.
