Hi everyone,
since little after I bought my F7pro SS a year and half ago the map manager of the watch is showing that map updates are available. Every time I connect the watch to a power source it starts downloading the updates but it goes up to 95% and never finishes. Garmin express in windows says that the watch is fully updated. I have (as shown on the watch):
- Topoactive map Europe (Version 2025.10, Garmin Express says 2025.11)
- Golf Europe (Version 25.31)
- SkyView 2026.10
For all these maps the map manager on the watch is showing updates available. Yet, Garmin Express is not able to find any, nor I am able to download them through WIFI. I have have seen a lot of posts online about this issue. How comes that Garmin hasn't solved it already?
I have so far:
1. performed a soft reset of the watch multiple times;
2. performed a hard reset of the watch multiple times (the last time yesterday);
3. manually deleted maps from the watch.
It's always the same and the issue persists. I am just tired of it.
