Yesterday I was running on a new spot and created a short course to get familiar with the area. However, when trying to load the course, it freezes on the map screen during calculation. I tried multiple times, restarting the watch, etc, but without any success. Then I switched to the normal running activity, and the course loads instantly. I tried the same course with other activities, such as biking, walking, and hiking, and all of them loaded the route instantly. What I notice is that when using the trail run activity, after loading the course, it is not mentioned on the activity home screen. However, when I tried it with the other activities, I could see that a course was selected, along with its title and length.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is this a new bug that needs attention from Garmin?
The device is Fenix 7S Solar with software version 22.06.
