Need wireless 28.27

Hi everyone, since I updated to v20.22 my fenix 7 solar is unusable. I also tried to backdate the software but it doesn't work, it tells me that the software is updated to v 0.00. If I put v 20.22 back the watch starts, but when it asks me to pair it to the phone the message "need wireless 20.27" appears and from there nothing can be done. Has anyone solved it?

    Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try again. If I skip the phone pairing step, I manually configure the watch but then I can't access the menu with the center button. If I push it, it makes a sound but doesn't open the menu

    ...so this installation is really broken. I keep my fingers crossed. Next step imho factory reset using the buttons and try if override of the wireless brings better results (not the highest probability) and than the tests with other firmware in order to get a clean install of any kind. Of course you have the correct packages for your exact model as for pro/nonpro and type (F7s,F7,F7x)? 

    What you could try too: using the steps I mentioned to reestablish USB connection and try whether it will connect to GE again and suggests an update there to repair your software.

    I’ve restarted the watch just about 20 times, reset the watch 8 times, backed up from versions I’ve had 3 times and installed 2 different software updates (the beta update, and most recent software update) just like your watch my watch is now bricked. It seems to have installed some software update when I was sleeping and now just like you it requires the same 28.27 update. My Epix pro 2 is bricked and there’s nothing I can do about it,

    seems like garmin needs some lawsuit to start taking issues like this more seriously because it happens once a year every year to a lot of gaming users

    Have you had any luck with your gamin? I have almost the exact problem with a Forerunner 165 Music. I can access menus though, but if I try to pair i get "need wireless 28.27".

    I have connected to Express, updated everything. Reset + delete data and also the hidden menu reset like 6 times.

    Is this really not going to be fixed by garmin?
