After setting up my watch (Enduro 2) when I saved a new sports app, then watch went crazy, all the stored customized sports app disappeared from the activity/favourite list and some of them were not listed in the inventory list either. Moreover my watch did not let me create a run app and rename saying that it already existed, although I found it nowhere even after a power cycle.
I had backed up my watch several times during the initial finetuning process of my watch, having learnt that one should never trust the stability of a Garmin watch. I tried to apply the backup which first confused my watch even worse, but the 2nd restore to the same state gave me back everything except for the settings of CIQ watchfaces, and that of some of CIQ datafields.
Is it the way backup/restore should work?
A secondary question: if I create more backups, is it normal that I see only one in GC under device/system/backup&restore?
I mean if that only backup is corrupted then you are stuck. And if there is only backup and the restore process is not perfect, something is missing it is better to use the good old fashioned method to back up evetything as files after plugging it my watch as a usb device.
