In DCR's youtube video he mentioned that he can "sort of" see an improvement in the new MIP display, but he didn't make it sound like the difference was very substantial.

– Added Endurance Score metric
– Added Hill Score metric
– Added weather overlays on maps (precip, temp, wind, clouds)
– Added shaded relief on all maps
– Added new split screen data pages (map + data fields split vertically)
– Added new ‘perimeter’ data pages (data around edge of map)
– Added new ‘Recents’ feature to quickly access widgets anytime
– Added 30+ new activity/sport profiles (listed down below)
Wow, so many things that make another things not working! So excited!
To early adopters like myself: Garmin Connect ios hasn't been updated to support the new devices.

The new 3d relief maps sealed the deal for me, they look AWFUL and nearly useless on the fenix 7X (picture below, right watch), and absolutely spectacular on the Epix Pro (left watch)

That being said, I'm keeping the Fenix for multi-day adventure usage because, well.... obviously the Fenix still destroys even the 51mm Epix on battery life.
What is left to the Enduro 2?
I don't think I understand your question.
Are you asking which of these new software features will get rolled down to the Enduro 2? If so, the answer is probably all of them, though it might take a couple months longer to get them than the Fenix 7 non-pro.
I wonder if there is any MIP difference / improvements with backlight off.
When you look at ChaseTheSummit's review it even seems like the F7Pro is much worse with backlight off but maybe his normal 7 was a non sapphire when his 7 Pro was sapphire. He doesn't say it as far as I can remember.
If anyone has both watches (same materials) some comparion photos with backlight off would be nice. This was the most disappointing thing with my 7s compared to my 6s Pro, readability when backlight was off. Much more glare and reflections than before.

I mean.
Would you still buy an Enduro2?
Hardly surprising given you got the watch before official release. Hopefully you'll get that access soon. Are you able to access GE?
