Hi Guys,
Recently I've been focusing on optimizing training focus according to Garmin's training load. As I understand the math here (and please correct me if I'm wrong), each training would fall into one of the categories (i) low aerobic (ii) high aerobic and (iii) anaerobic and add trainings epoc to overall load from last for weeks in one of the categories.
Here is my confusion: my training load in 'low aerobic' seems to be in focus as being over optimal range (please see the picture enclosed) but I have purposefully reduced volume in low aerobic trainings just to reduce this focus (again on enclosed picture on the left hand side there is presented training load per activity over time).
So it seems to me that either I'm not fully understand the math behind the training load and how it's allocated to training focus categry or there is something odd with the calculations. The base for this conclusion is interpretation (possibly wrong) from the 'training load' information in the connect app (although it's the same on the watch) where (on enclosed picture) left hand side presents last for weeks of trainings and clearly there is not that much 'low aerobic' focus (green bars) while on the right hand side (which I believe averages 4 week load) shows clear focus on low aerobic trainings.
I would really eppreciate some insights on how to interpretate these charts. Thanks and have a great day.
