Supposedly the same Airoha AG3335M chipset is used in both versions. At least I don't see another multi-GNSS Airoha chipset without L1+L5 support and with all other parameters the same as AG3335M.

My comment was a sarcasm. I obviously agree that there is no choice. I would myself strongly prefer an F7 with Gorilla glass (with less reflection) but I had to have multi-band so I ended up, reluctantly, buying a sapphire F7X. Also, I need a larger display and a longer battery life, so that leaves FR955 out, not that it was available a few months ago.
