Supposedly the same Airoha AG3335M chipset is used in both versions. At least I don't see another multi-GNSS Airoha chipset without L1+L5 support and with all other parameters the same as AG3335M.

100% agree. I do not understand why a top of the range watch does not have a feature that is being rolled out to much cheaper devices. Completely counter productive and just frustrating existing customers. Whether some people in this forum thing it's crying or not is irrelevant. The fact that customers in this forum express their unhappiness about Garmin decision is reason enough to take it seriously.

No. We haven't. Because there are people than don't like the glare in solar or shappire screens. There is NO Fenix 7 with normal screen and dual band (at the moment, the new generation "Fenix 7 pro?" will have it, so, this generation is better to avoid, IMO)

According to the manufacturer website AG3335MN is slightly different from AG3335M in that AG3335MN only supports IRNSS in L5-band. Other than that they are identical.
