Deleting steps for a day

Hi All, I am trying to delete the steps for a day on My Fenix 6X.

I have managed to delete them online, so it's showing no data for that day.

I lent the watch to someone, and they went and exceeded my highest step count, so that's now showing as my record.

I am quite happy to lose everything for that day.

Is there any way to do this - I don't mind going into the watch and deleting files.

Thanks. I don't really want to delete everything though. It's disappointing that you can delete from connect but it stays on the watch.

Unfortunately you can't selectively delete just one thing. You can only delete all the information on the device by doing a reset as described here. Some information will be synced back to the device, but I am not sure what exactly.

Deleting files from the device will not help, files with steps in them, are no longer there, they are deleted after syncing to Connect.
