Hi everyone,
I have had my Fenix 6s Pro for almost exactly 12 months and yesterday I swear it just had a meltdown. After charging it like I normally do yesterday, I put it on after it reached 100% battery and carried on about my activities. It was a couple of hours into what I was doing that I noticed it wasn't recording the steps I had done, and my heart-rate hadn't recorded after charging (it was recording up to the point I recharged yesterday afternoon). My battery also normally lasts about a week, but after charging to 100% at 6pm yesterday, all battery was completely obliterated to 0% by 9am this morning. I recharged again today, on instruction from support, and after it reached 100%, its now jumping around the place saying 11 days battery, then 15 mins later, 12 hours battery, then I got an alert asking if I wanted to go into power save as I had 11 days battery, and now I am back with it saying 10 days battery.... WTF?!
I also have this weird lag that started out at 30seconds after pressing any of the buttons (except light which is immediate), that now after following the instructions given to me by support and doing a beta install and master reset (I had already done soft resets and factory resets before talking to support), my lag is now between 60 seconds to 5 minutes. Also, my phone/app recognises my fenix but it won't link, it just keeps coming up with a fail error - it was unlinked when I factory reset the watch. Oh, one other thing, it is randomly buzzing and vibrating for extended periods for no obvious reason.
Has anyone else had this issue with this watch? Did you come across any fixes or is this going to end up a replacement job? Does anyone know how long it takes if it has to be replaced? I invested in this watch because I am doing some rehab and trying to make sure I walk enough steps etc after some major injuries and surgeries, and I don't want to be without my garmin for too long, given the fact it has broken so close to Christmas, I am worried about getting it sorted quickly!
Any information or experiences would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks!
