Unable authenticate maps

After successfully updating topo maps to version Europe 2021.10, Garmin Express notifies update of: Coverage of Europe, Middle East & Africa 6.10 ; Coverage of North and South America 6.50 ; Coverage of Pacific 5.60
After updating the Fenix 6x does not detect these maps and whenever it is restarted or disconnected from the computer a message appears on the screen with the text: "Unable authenticate maps".
Entering the system information of the fenix 6x, these maps are NOT operative.

Once again, Garmin disappoints with the problems that bring their updates.

Anyone else with the same problem?

Same problem here, just updated to the new maps via Garmin Express on Windows. Now the maps no longer work, telling me they are not authenticated. Shame, wanted to go hiking tomorrow.

The number 1 reason a GPS device with a map on it goes to either error, "Cannot Authenticate Maps" or "Cannot Unlock Maps" - is due to the owner accidentally disconnecting the device while the map…

Did you do any manual intervention before ? E.g. manually deleted maps ?

No. Never. I have never installed beta software on the Fenix. I have never installed an extra map. I have not installed music. I have a Mac, and have never accessed the watch file structure. I did not try to install the map of Europe until it was published that the issue was resolved

Are you using the latest Express version. A new version has just been released.

Garmin, This doesn't help solve the issue.

reinstalling the maps keep giving the error.

I think you have a corrupt map file in the update

If there is a corrupt map on our server, that means every single Fenix 6 Pro owner would have the same issue. Which is not taking place worldwide. I am really sorry but the error means you have a device issue with your Fenix 6 Pro if after updating maps using Garmin Express results in the Can't Authenticate Maps error message.

Perhaps there went something wrong on your computer during the first download and this download issue is still in the cache while you have started a new download and responsible for your issue? Clearing the cache? But l just guess, I have no idea…

What cache do you suggest I clean? how do I clean it?
