Jaybird Vista Bluetooth Headphones Disconnect

I haven't had my Fenix 6 for very long and for the first few runs my Jaybird Vista headphones worked fine, then out of the blue they would keep disconnecting after about 5 minutes of playing. I reset and re-paired devices and tried all sorts but nothing seemed to work. I've since Googled and found that it's possibly a Bluetooth update that's occurred on the Fenix that's introduced a bug which affects Jaybird Vistas and other wireless headphones.

How quickly will this be recified as at the moment I'm having to run with massive over ear headphones, not really what I was expecting when buying the watch to be honest. :D Bugs happen, if it's going to be fixed in the next week or so then no big deal but could someone let me/us know.

  • This has started happening again on software version 26.00

My watch and Jaybird Vistas earbuds were playing nicely until this update. Now I've had to roll back to BT/BLE v5.04 again.

  • this post has been open for 3 years... i just upgrade from the 5 plus to the fenix 6 and thought my Jaybird Vista 2's were giving up on me but turns out this fixed it! Would be nice if garmin would address this for real... but at least there's a work around, thanks guys!

As a work around before, when it disconnected i just held down the left and right earbud button for about 10-15seconds and that would power cycle them and then they would reconnect, but god was that a hassle
