Same for me. The update went fine. Suddenly after charging the fenix, I do have a battery drain: 30% during the night in battery mode. Normal was 1-2%. It is strange because the update was a few weeks…
I did a factory reset (via the watch settings) as well as a master reset (by pressing the buttons in the right order while the watch is off) and both did not help to solve the battery drain issue on my Fenix 6X watch. So it seems to be a firmware issue and not a hardware issue, because my watch is several months old and was working just fine a couple of weeks ago.
Same issue for me on a 6Xsaphire, it had been lasting 2-3 weeks , only use BT on exercising , most things are off. Since this Friday it has been draining within 36hrs. Tried the reset and power off / down. Email sent to Garmin and Cotswold Outdoor who thankfully do a long guarantee. Watch only 6 months old. A pain to pack it up and return. Checked and am on the same software. Not good. Always a fan of Garmin but never experienced this.
I’m sending mine back to garmin tomorrow. The watch is only 6 months old so but disappointed.
If they only want the watch itself , no box / straps / cables.
so packing it up won’t be too hard. They said it takes 10 days to get my new one. Hopefully that will work better ( fenix 6 pro solar ).

Looks like I've come to the right place. Had my 6pro just over a year now and its been spot on, that was until 2 days ago! I've not changed a thing since i first turned it on but what the hell is going on with the battery life? From a full charge it's now not lasting 24hours, i thought maybe I hadn't turned the plug on when I charged it on Sat so wasn't sure. Defiantly charged it last night as it was 100% this morning. Around 11.30am today it beeped to say low battery! I have again just fully charged it so lets see. I'm guessing other people are having the same issue.

Good morning all. Just an update the watch was 80% charged last night and at 6am today it was beeping to go into battery save mode. Fully charged to nearly flat in 12 hours :-(
Hello all. After waiting a couple of weeks for a potential software fix from Garmin I decided to give the support hotline a call. It ended up that I got a replacment watch from Garmin after 4-5 days and the battery problems seem to be gone now. I can really recommend everyone who has this problem to call Garmin and tell them about it and get a replacement watch. It has been released in Nov 2019 as far as I remember, so everyone should still be able to get a free replacement under waranty.

13.10. after hard reset looks good after several weeks. One month battery is back! All apps installed back, no problem. Before reset it elated 50% per day, now 2-3% (no activity, HRM always on, BT on few times a day)
