Watch reboots while saving a swim

Me :( I called customer service a s they said “we are aware of this issue and we are trying to a get a solution in the next update”  

Just back from a pool swim using HRM-Tri and it saved fine after searching, finding and downloading the data.

In my experience the watch has always looked for data from the HRM-Tri after an activity when it is turned off in sensors and accessories. I’m not a fan of that behavior as in my mind, if I switch it off it’s because I don’t want to use it. I have made a suggestion to GARMIN that the request to download HRM-Tri data after an activity is skipped when the strap is turned off in sensors and accessories.

Good idea, but maybe I"m wrong, I think one time I tuned off the HR-Tri strap and it still looked for it after the swim.  Maybe not, I'll try it tomorrow.

Yep, that's the behavior I was referring to. And it's the same with the HRM-Pro. The only way I've found to avoid the message is to remove the strap from Sensors and Accessories. 

Granted it's easy enough to skip past the message to search for data but there's a reason why I've turned off the connection to the strap.

BTW, still no issues saving after a swim.

Well I removed the HR strap and the watch still re-booted while saving the swim, the only other think I can think of doing is disable the wrist HR for the swim.

fenix 6s, I reset my watch, then I installed 11.75 and finally everything works fine when saving swimming activity. 

Did you also put your FIT files back on the watch, such as settings, sports etc...?  or did you just reset those again?  Thanks

I just reset the whole thing! I tried many things previously...
