Do it yourself quick release kit (wrist/bike) and carabiner strap

I bought the quick release mounting kit for the Fenix 3 (010-12168-11) and the Quickfit bike mount (010-13013-00).

I only need the bottom plate and the 2 arched bars and 2 screws from the F3 kit, the bike mount and my quick release strap from my 6xPS.

You can easily take it off your wrist and attach it to the handlebar within 2-3 seconds. Perhaps this is useful for someone. And you can’t forget/lose your quick fit wrist strap anymore, because it is still save on your wrist while biking.

Would be better and much cheaper, if Garmin had created only 1 kit for all.

And is the wrist mount of the fenix 3 compatible with the 22mm band of fenix 6? For the fenix 3 dimension is more similar to fenix 6X (which use the 26mm band).

ZBtw: because it seems, that we will also never get quick release carabiner strap, here is a do it yourself solution (took some Garmin material out of the drawer):

The available carabiner strap (non quick fit) works only with screws and I hate the fiddling with the little screws or spring bars. buy.garmin.com/.../107376
