7.78 Change Log Notes:

Made several WiFi related improvements.
Made several improvements for music apps.
Removed Grit and Flow from the MTB App so we can improve the user experience. This feature will return after improvements are made.

Current beta peripheral software version numbers below. New versions are indicated in red.

GPS: 4.02*
Sensor Hub: 5.05
ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models): 5.01
ANT/BLE (non-Pro models): 2.11
Wi-Fi (Pro models only): 2.60

*We recommend that you update to GPS version 4.02. This version fixes a minor bug that could cause long Time to First Fix.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Virtual Run is here now. I was able to connect my watch to Zwift and everything it's working.

We do recommend that you update your GPS version to 4.02 given the fix described above.

Virtual Run is here now. I was able to connect my watch to Zwift and everything it's working.

That's awesome, I wasn't going to bother with this beta since I don't really care about music or wifi, but the virtual run feature is definitely worthwhile.

Edit: Just installed this beta and tried out Virtual Run with Zwift, definitely seems to be working. I don't have a treadmill here at the office, but running-in-place at my desk got my little character on the screen moving

What do you think there LTHR will be detected in this version? I have an issue on my F6x , because is do not detect LTHR from a long time ago and Garmin support did not answer yet from 2019 when i sent logs.

When will detect you LTHR pls let me know

I was hopeful the mixed up music folders error was fixed... nope. The error persists.

try to set your LT very low, like 10-20bpm under your normal values and try again a LT test, often it helps!

Do I need the 7.77 Beta as well to upgrade on 7.78. My watch actually run on the official 6.10 and I want to give the beta a try. Update file is placed in the correct Folder but nothing happend. Any advises or hints?

No. You just install the 7.78 files as mentioned in the instructions. And that's all(apart from fingers crossed that everything will work better or, at least, as before :-D)

ok...I´ve done everything mentioned in the instructions...but the watch is still on 6.10
