temperature may not be the only thing you need to worry about. Hotspring water normally contains sulphur compounds that can corrode metals
Seems like an unnecessary risk. There's no reason to keep the watch on. It might be fine, but why chance it?
From owner's manual: Operating and storage temperature range - From -20º to 45ºC (from -4º to 113ºF)
For F6X Solar: Solar charging temperature range - From 0 to 60°C (from 32 to 140°F)
Those are air temperature ranges, not hot sulfur water temperature ranges.
45ºC is ok, but sulfur in the water - that could be bad.
We need to walk 40mins from camp site to hotspring. I need the watch time indication (etr eta) for the trail. If takeout the watch. No secure place to keep it
Wear a hat, and keep the watch under there
even fumes from hot sulphur water may cause long term problem in the watch
