When do you think the 5.0 software wil be replaced by a newer version, how long does it take for a beta release to become an official new version ??

Since i see a lott of people are using the beta version s of the software i was wondering how long wil it take for a beta version to live as an official version. How long wil it take to replace 5.0 ??

Having used the related multisport devices (Forerunner 935 & 945) for a few years, the testing cycle is usually a few weeks to a few months - and that's a GOOD thing as the Garmin engineers and support team are looking for bugs and unintended behavior across installed devices.

They've even stopped a phased roll-out or two when something unusual popped up early. Shortly thereafter, a completely new software version rolled out.

Are you experiencing problems with the software you have installed?

The only bug i have is that the ski app is freezing during use ( and no that is not from the cold), To ben honest i am pretty happy how the OHR is working compairing to the cheststrap so no complaints from me
