Curious as to everyone's favorite 3rd party watch face? Battery drain is of course a concern!
Right now I bounce between the Garmin native watch faces and the EuroPilotPlusDiet by s0dhi and Crystal by PixelPathos on my F6 Sapphire Titanium.

I've tried lots. Currently, I like the very minimalist Forerunner 645 watchface. I just need the time, date, sunset, and distance ran. Anything else is too tiny to see without a magnifying glass.
I’m probably verging on being a Luddite when it comes to CIQ add-ins. I’ve very briefly sampled watch faces and data fields but very quickly gone back to ‘out of the box’ configuration. While I appreciate…
I have ended up with the stock Garmin watch faces due to battery life and I cannot stand the delay there is with some watch faces when pressing a button
EuroPilotPlusDiet and Rails for me

I use only ACTIFACE. No battery drain, lots of info and looks good enough for me.

While I appreciate others like to ‘personalise’ their watch experience, I’ve found over the years adding CIQ ‘stuff’ causes more problems than it solves.
Of course YMMV

100% this.
I will add a very cautious recommendation for a single third-party widget: Barcode Wallet. It's never so much as hiccuped any Garmin wearable I've used it on.
In fairness, the 645 watchface seilogramp linked above seems to be working for a lot of people too, including a friend of mine who doesn't use any active data fields (no HR, no seconds).
Just downloaded it...great looking watch face! Thanks for the recommendation!
Actiface, Digital 5 Good

I agree, CIQ stuff usually isn't worth the instability and/or performance issues they tend to introduce to the watch. I used to use CIQ stuff all the time, but after one event where I was at a hiking trailhead in the mountains, way outside cell phone range, and my watch kept crashing and wouldn't let me start the activity until I did a factory reset (and ultimately determined that it was a combination of CIQ datafields that were causing it).... I deleted all of my CIQ stuff and never looked back (mostly).
That said, I do use a CIQ watchface now, only because none of the factory Garmin ones display all the data I want to see on it. I've had good luck with this one, my watch has been plenty stable and battery drain is fine. I don't think watchfaces interfere with activities, because as soon as your start an activity the watch temporarily switches over to a factory watchface in the background.
Anyways, my favorite watchface is called HandsFive:
That is a nice looking watch face :-)
