Fenix 6 Series - 5.74 Beta Release

5.74 Change Log Notes:

Made several improvements to the DogTracker widget and on device experience. This includes: New Tracker Map, Pro View, and Compass pages.
New Alert options on device. (DogTracker Widget)
Added a new digital watch-face option which displays minutes as the large value in the center.
Added support for Low Heart Rate Alerts. (Wrist Heart Rate > Heart Rate Options > Abnormal HR Alert)
Updated the look and feel of Clocks to provide a more condensed version of the information at a glance.
Enabled Swim Pace Alerts for Pro/Sapphire models.
Brought in improvements for CIQ.

We have temporarily removed in-activity data field editing in this beta. We have identified a few bugs and while they are difficult to reproduce, we do not want our customers to experience these issues. When these bugs are resolved, this feature will be added back in to software.

Current beta peripheral software version numbers below. New versions are indicated in red.

GPS: 2.60
Sensor Hub: 4.11
ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models): 4.30
ANT/BLE (non-Pro models): 2.10
Wi-Fi (Pro models only): 2.60

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Not only does OHR update appear to be more responsive, Pulse Ox and Body Battery are also better. Looks like a great update.

If you are still experiencing accuracy issues with OHR after installing this beta update, we would like to collect some information from you to investigate further. If you encounter issues, please email a report to [email protected]. In your email, please include the following details:

Please make the subject of the email: Fenix 6 - HR Feedback - your first name
Under what circumstances did you encounter poor HR performance?
- e. indoor cycling activity, all-day tracking, hiking, etc.
Please attach the following files to your email
- The relevant activity .fit file, if the issue occurred during an activity
- The GarminDevice.xml from the Garmin folder
- The Settings.fit file from Garmin\Settings
- All files in the Garmin\Monitor folder
- Any pictures/screenshots/links to information in Garmin Connect that help explain the issue
Please also let us know if we have permission to access your Garmin Connect account. This will allow us to investigate your report faster, if we identify that other data is necessary for investigating. You do not have to grant us this permission, but doing so will allow us to be as thorough as possible in our investigation.

I thought lets try the beta what put me in a new setup process when opening Garmin Connect on my iPhone 11 Pro for 20 minutes.

Loaded fine for me, took around 2 minutes

Time display in Stopwatch !! Thank you !!! :-) been waiting for that since my Fenix 5X.

Very new synthetic view in Clock.
It works great on the Alarm Menu.
I miss the analogic view of the time zones and the bigger fonts on the multi timer display.
But this is minor compared to... TOD in the Stopwatch !!

I've even made a custom activity with TOD and Timer on the same display but it was battery consuming. SO really this is really something I was looking forward to.

Yes got it working again after 20 minutes but it was quite annoying. In the end I restarted the iPhone so don't know if did was the right move :)

good update! Swim Pace Alerts coming! Why APAC version can't use this update? I put the gcd file but it didn't work.
