  • Pulled in support for WHR v20.04.50. (Requires SNS v3.10)
  • Brought in several improvements for music.
  • How about issue when watch became unresponsive during ski mode? It was said that this issue was covered by the beta software 4.65 and 4.67, but in the change log there is nothing about it. Is this issue resolved bu this update?

  • Don’t you think that if they had a resolution, they would have implemented it?

Are people really complaining that they’ve yet again added new features to this watch? The new battery saver option during sleep IMO is huge.

Enjoy these new features now, as in 3 months that will stop and it will just be big fixes, with the new focus on the “Plus” series next year.

  • Hoping the Fenix Sport is LTE

  •  No hydration tracking to manually track liquid intake with widget and app.

  • I completely agree, I want to buy this watch for myself and my wife but the reports by several users is leaving me on the sidelines and for now I keep running with my older forerunner 620.  As you said most of the metrics that first beat uses to provide feedback is based on the HR.  At this price this is sad and not an acceptable.  They need to focus on the major components.

  • Thank you.

(Will the manual / user guide also be updated to reflect the changes, where applicable?)

  • Pulled in support for WHR v20.04.50. (Requires SNS v3.10)

Anyone who knows what this is? I guess it has to do with the OHR but never seen it in the beta versions released.

  • For me the lack of a backcountry ski app was a big dissapointment until now, the improved ClimbPro is great and is something I use almost every day, I think this is the greatest update so far, at least for me... however I could live without the emojis.. Workout animations could be nice sometimes, it is good that they can be now disabled...

  • Please add support for timed don't disturb. It should enable switching on don't disturb for predefined time and after expiration it should switch to regular (i.e. disturb) mode. It would be very useful when activating it on start of some event that needs silence and afterwards user doesn't have to think about disabling don't disturb mode (e.g. in Cinema, theater, hospital, etc). Thanks

  • They should have a resolution as lots of bugs introduced in the first major firmware upgrade since they released F6. It is the same situation with my Marq. Functions/metrics which had worked perfectly fine before the upgrade broke.

They have the old, working code, and the new broken one. They also have a diff utility. So technically, it's possible. What they probably don't have is resource to allocate fixing these issues which is quite weird considering the price tag of these devices. Or it's just lack of interest and they hope most of the users will put up with chasing a fix. I do not know.

Also, I don't understand the communication approach, it seems the more bug reports come up they communicate the less. Same with the support.

Don't get me wrong, I like the device very much but the software, QA and the communication are leave a lot to be desired.
