When running with navigation on, the line you have to follow is very Light coloured. How do I change this to a darker colour?

i have the same issue with the 5x. for me what helped is to set the map to less detail and this way the magenta line is easier to see. garmin needs to make the line thicker
Borders on both sides on magenta line.

Now
The look is thinner without the black borders or edges. I don't know another English word for it.
Got it. But no edges. Really an unclear line. But.. I got a workaround, well I didn't invent it but someone in the comments down below suggested to change the contrast and that worked. The line is clearer…
This worked for me, thank you!
Just double click on the route line and when it opens on the top right there is a box for colour
This has come up before and the custom map themes will fix this.
I tired the Dark Orange black theme and works great
Is garmin reading this? It seems that they do not changed anything. I personally would like to have not only the possibility in having the color of the tracking changed but also the navigation line. For me the best would be, navigation line in BLUE and the tracking line in RED. This would be helpful to avoid the confusion of colors in combination of the "popular" routes!
Garmin, please read this and implement it? It is not a big deal to introduce this feature!
Thanks in advance

The bug that I reported above is solved since beginning of this year.
You can use a custom map theme as described in this post.
Is popular routes a theme by itself? And then it can't be used together with above I suppose.
