Is anyone else having issues with the move bar? Mine turns on even when I’m doing something and once engaged takes forever to have it reset.

To clear the move bar you have to walk without interruption for about 100 meters, possibly longer if the move bar reached its full length.
The move bar starts to show if you are moving, just not moving enough. The first segment appears when you've not taken enough steps in 1 hr (about 100). The 4 smaller ones, after each additional 15…
Yes, the watch counted the steps, but showed no impact on reducing the full move bar. Silly isn't it?
Yeah I noticed it seems to be harder to clear the move bar on my 6X than previous versions.
I sit at an office desk and I know that when it used to alert me, walking to fill my water bottle was enough to clear it. Doesn't get close to it now.

To clear all 5, you need to do about 200 steps without stopping.
I have the same problem on my New Garmin fenix 6 pro.
I googled "move bar" to see if I'm the only one having this problem - apparently not! When my Fenix 6S alerts me to MOVE! I can get up, start a load of laundry, fold a load of laundry, walk up and down a flight of stairs, and the bar still doesn't clear. This seems like a lot of movement -- yet to have the move-bar still imply I'm stationary is quite frustrating.

I don't know how far 100 meters is, but I would think doing semi-vigorous chores around the house for 30 minutes would put a dent in the move bar, it hasn't cleared even one segment. I'm fairly convinced I received a defective watch. Extremely disappointing considering the price-point of this device.
I am sorry your move bar is not behaving properly. Please contact Outdoor Fenix Product Support so the issue can be resolved.
I contacted Customer Support via the chat feature, and was told "movements that mimic the natural swing of the arm, is how steps are detected" (Angie) It's ridiculous to think that's how Garmin programmed the MOVE function. So... if I go for a 1-mile walk and I keep my hand in my pocket, I'm not moving. If I walk up and down two flights of stairs in my home with a laundry-basket in my arms, the watch believes I'm sitting on my @$$ eating bonbons.
I had a Polar wristwatch for over 4 years; it cost 20% what this brand-new Garmin device costs, and yet that feature performed flawlessly. Anyone considering a Garmin Fenix series watch should reconsider. This is a basic function, and yet its riddled with flaws.
I did 1400 steps without stopping, and it didn't even clear one segment of the 5-move bars. This function needs serious improvement.
I'm fairly convinced I received a defective watch.
