V21 update battery drain

After each upgrade hold light button until watch switch off and 20 seconds more,  switch the watch on and get gps outxide on maps or some gps activity. I never had battery ddain after upgrade and I am installing every beta version. 

Thanks for the suggestion but it didnt work. I've tried that twice and this morning my watch was full battery 37 minutes ago and it's already at 94%. 

Let us see tomorrov, first 10 percent goes quite quickly on mine too, I think that battery is not more in 100% condition, so the first quick decrease may reflect decrease of  battery capacity over time. Then it goes OK. I charged yesterday morning, had 1 hour run and 1 hour strength since, will see tomorrow, but looks OK to me.

one more question, what watch face do you use? Garmin one, or third party?

I use a garmin 1. I've never done any big modifications to my watch. Garmin finally got back to me yesterday. It is an issue for several users and they are currently working on a solution. Not fixable from my side.

• Sounds like yours is still ok. I unplugged my watch at 830 this morning. It is now 1130 and I'm at 70%. It will be dead before I leave work today with no activities tracked. Hopefully garmin can fix it soon

very strange. Mine is on 53 percent from Monday morning, but I did two 12 km runs and one hour strength since then, so it looks to be fine, although there were better ones.

Battery drain is perfect! Five days in use, 5 h activities and drain from 100% to 63%.

If you have to much drain: Check the used Apps and delete no native Garmin Apps!

yours looks perfect. The activities were with GPS? I use stryd powermeter, so it takes a bit more, anyway, I am satisfied with this one, although i.e. 19.71 looked better, nevermind.
