$800 for a watch that doesn’t work 18 months later. Cust serv is charging $190 for a refurb replacement and I ship defected one at my expense. Are you for real?

Bought brand new Fenix 5x and 18 mo later not functioning and not charging. Have been communicating with customer service for weeks trying every remedy they present to no avail. Now that it is determined to be defective your solution is for me to shell out another $200 and return ship at my expense. It’s unconscionable. For that product price point you should be standing behind that product with everything you got. $800 can’t even get me 5 years, not even 2 years? What a joke. I tried to conduct this privately but now I’m taking it to your message boards, twitter Facebook trustpilot and anywhere else someone might google ‘Garmin’ when they are in the market for a sport watch.
