Is there any way to add indoor bike trainers that are not "smart" to get power output?

I have a JetBlack Z1 Fluid trainer. It is not a "smart" trainer, but nevertheless, has a documented power curve. I also have a speed and cadence sensor on my bike that are connected to my Fenix 5.

On apps like Rouvy, Zwift, etc you can specify the trainer make and model and the app then knows the power curve of the trainer based on speed and can track your power output.

Does anyone know if Garmin supports this?

Not without a power meter.
Some training apps like Trainerroad have "Virtual Power" profiles for a bunch of "dumb trainers" that calculates power from the speed sensor.

Fair enough, thanks for confirming.

Yep, my training app (Rouvy) has my "dumb trainer" listed so it automatically calculates my power output based on my wheel speed. However, if you didn't want to pay for another app, then there seems no way to get this functionality.

Garmin, if you're listening (I know you're not ) then maybe think about doing this?
