Block and Unblocking apps

I have recently just accidentally blocked my message app on my Garmin Fenix 5x. On looking at this forum it suggests the Smart Notifications. But on my Android device Smart Notifications is not an option on Garmin Connect (and I only just downloaded it as it's a new watch, so guessing it is up to date). Is there another way that I am missing how to unblock so I can start receiving message notifications again?

On Android, go to the overflow menu in the Connect app (the left drawer using the three horizontal lines at top left of app) to go to settings, then Notifications, then App Notifications
