No GPS recording

Firstly I don’t have a Fenix 5 but as I can’t find the Fenix 3 forum, this is as close as I can get to where I should be. Over the winter months most of my activities have been indoor, therefore no need for GPS, but I have ventured outdoors for running twice in the past week and both times no GPS was recorded. Everything else seems ok, I wait until the GPS circle changes from red to green I do my run but no GPS is saved. Any ideas????

So you started to run although GPS circle was not green?

You can have outdated EPO, so it takes longer. First, try to put watch for like 10 minutes on open sky and wait, if does not help, try factory reset and check again. If it does not help, it is probably HW issue, so it would be for Garmin support.

Thank you but the GPS circle was green when I started to run and was able to notify my ‘lap’ times (every mile by default) so I thought everything was ok. It was only when I stopped running and saved it that I realised there was no GPS data.
