Insane Battery drain since 15.10

You try a soft reset after the update - I do it after every update, every charge, helps with clearing stuck processes that suck up battery.

Test with default watch face - might be an issue with a custom face you are using. Every update seems to cause issues with some faces. Either Garmin or the developer of the face has to fix those.

And yes you can downgrade - a few threads here on how to do it.

Same for my Fenix 5X, about 1% per hour.

After 24 h, with no activities, from 100% to 98 %. My experience: Some third-party (not designed by Garmin) APPS or WIDGETS are badly designed so always with a new SW-Version some third-party APPS or WIDGET make big problems.

I am using my third Fenix 5x and never I had problems with Battery drain. Always with the USB-Connector!

I already tried a softreset - without effect.

My Fenix 5 is in Factory state. I only use the Features provided out of the box.
NO Apps.
NO Thirdparty Watchfaces.

As already said everything was fine with 12.40 Firmware.
But with future updates the Batterylife get's lower with every Update.

But for now I think 1%/hr is way too much.

That is high - on 15 base I was getting the usual .3 percent/8 percent day. Been riding quite a bit since 15.1 and that skews the battery - will check tonight though, been a rain day! I’m pretty much stock apart from adding a speed sensor.

Never had a sigle problem with battery drain or anything else for that matter with any firmware version. I must be quite lucky. Uppgraded yesteday to 15.10 and battery drain is appr. 5%/day. I have two third party watchface installed. Edit: Corrected one typo

Mine is around %8/day with 1.5 hour of trainer ride. Chest HR, and power meter connected.

I updated the software to 15.10 and I can no longer use rum, anyone else?

What is "rum"?
