Measuring body temperature with fenix 6

Hi all,

would you think Gamin Fenix 6 can be good for measuring body temperature? Like data logger measuring through few days?

I know on hand will not really be accurate...do you knwo what kind of sensor would be accurate enough and be able to be paired with Fenix?

The device contains a temperature sensor. Wear device under your sleeve and the recorded temperature will reflect your body temperature.

thank you for answer. What I am searching is for something like external sensor, but more accurate...for body temperature

There is a garminlabs datafield in Connect iq for that. Check if it is accurate enough. Name is ”estimated body temperature”

That is estimating temperature on heart rate though and is focused at preventing overheating during activity. That doesn't seem to be the use case the OP was asking about. There is an external sensor you can connect to the Garmin watch called Tempe - I guess if you stick it to your forehead you can get a more accurate body temp reading :-)
