Disabling HR monitoring during activity

Hi,

Is it possible to completely disable HR monitoring when starting an activity?

Typical scenario:

- I use wrist-based HR all day for activity tracking and sleep monitoring. No problem here.

- when running, I either use the chest strap or the wrist-based HR. No problem here.

- when cycling, I mostly use the chest strap, however for many activities I don't (e.g. commuting or family ride). In those cases my Fenix 5 is mounted on the handle bar, and it is still looking for the HR. I end up with erroneous HR (around 100bpm).

Is it possible to completely disable HR monitoring when starting an activity? as in "I'm not wearing the chest strap AND I don't care about HR at all so don't look for it". I can of course completely disable wrist-based HR in the watch but this would also disable sleep monitoring... and I want to see my RHR in the morning.

Thanks for your help.
