Connect map of run

Hi all,
I have logged a few runs outside this year and noticed that i no longer get the map of my run in the connect app/online - i looked back to outside runs i did before winter and the maps are there.... does anyone have an idea as to what happened?

Nope. They just include elevation changes as part of the distance calculation (instead of just 2D position), which makes negligible difference except on very very steep slopes (they're useful for skiing…

Same issue. I have always been able to print my hike maps. But not on Sunday's hike, All of the charts showed up on Connect, but no Map. I like to log all of my maps and am very disappointed that I could…

If there is no map you must have used the Run app with GPS turned off or Indoor Run.

Check the GPS settings of your Run app.

Thank you for the reply. I had the gps on, and i even waited till the satellite acquisition turned green - I did double check the settings and noticed 3D distance and speed settings that are not enabled....do i need to have these turned on?

Nope. One thing to try is turning the track display on in your run app and make sure that it's showing your track there, just to confirm whether it's actually tracking GPS position.

Thanks to all for their help and contributions - i changed gps to GPS+GLONASS - changed from smart recording to every second - and did a power cycle of the watch.....this has fixed the problem, i should have done them one at a time and tested to see if one specific change fixed the issue, but i did all three at the same time. I am now planing on power cycling every time i charge the watch, i do this for my phone once a week and seemed to have forgotten that this watch is a mini computer that probably would benefit from a similar schedule.

What do you mean by power cycling? Turning the watch off and on again?
