How many days worth of data will a Fenix 5X store without syncing?

I'm going on a multi-day backpacking trip. I love to track my hikes with my Fenix 5X, that was the primary purpose when I bought it. Sometimes I'm out in the back country with no internet connectivity but I haven't done more than 2 nights in with the Fenix yet. I usually just turn it on when we start hiking, I might pause it for our breaks and restart when we restart but it's usually in use for the day tracking my hike. I know the battery life will go down and I may need to recharge but I'm curious how many days of hiking it can store as I'm expecting 6 nights without internet access.

The data is copied during the sync process but not removed from the watch, but it will eventually get overwritten (oldest activities first)

You mean how much activity data you can fit to watch storage? I've had the same watch 2 years and still having all my activities also in watch storage so 6 days should fit fine.

How do you tell how much you have stored on the watch? I always assumed that when I synced it to my phone (which requires internet correct) that it removed the data from the watch.

How soon this happens will depend on the .FIT file size, which in turn depends on the number of sensors connected and the recording frequency. But even in the worst case scenario of multiple sensors recording every second, the watch will record hundreds of hours of activities before overwriting.

Just checked - 2 hours of running with HRM-Run, Stryd, tempe and Running Pod recording every second resulted in 521 Kb FIT file. So yes - you're safe

Just curious. Why do you use your Stryd and a running pod? A lot of the data is already duplicated with the HRM-Run and Stryd (I use a HRM-Tri w/ my Stryd). Is the pod giving you something the other two isn't?

No, but I just have it from before the HRM-Run so it's kind of a habit
