I have not and likely will not. Owned an F3 sapphire for 2 years, wore it 24/7, and I am typically brutal on my watches. Never able to scratch it, and even the bezel faired very well.

I have the IQ Sheild brand from my 3hr and they fit the same on the 5x, you get 6 for around 9 dollars. Only used one in a year and you can't even see it.
I had it on my Fenix 3 and when I had a bike fall, the screen cover took on a lot of the damage. However, the underlying screen itself was fine. Perhaps the screen would have been fine regardless, but who knows.
